Andy Owings School of Music is now offering guitar classes for beginners. Using the proven successful progressive guitar course, you and your child will learn to play the guitar the correct way. Lessons include guitar tuning, music theory and reading, playing melody and lead, playing chords and rhythm, ensemble & band playing, and music performance.

 

What makes our guitar classes different from guitar lessons anywhere else?
Many unqualified guitar teachers do not teach their guitar students to learn to read the music in their lessons. They do not even use any guitar course book, so students can not see their own progress. Instead, they only teach students to play songs and guitar tablature music. Even though it is a quick fix to play guitar songs right away, unfortunately this method also handicap students who actually can and want to progress beyond guitar song playing. In this class, not only students will learn to read music, melody, and chord playing, but they also will learn playing in an ensemble & band setting with other students, making guitar playing fun and proven successful!

Age Group: 8 years old & up

Cost: $250/semester ($210 with Early Full Payment) plus materials
